Palloladin: 7 days, 2 hours
I have had in the past other alliance toons before creating my shaman mid way through BC, with over 200 days played between them all.
What is the reason for you wanting to leave your current guild?
Due to doing shift work and working past raid start times for Forte a lot of nights, I am asked to sit out on raid nights if I cannot make all raids, so I am looking for a late night raiding guild as to continue with my raiding experience and push to heroic-LK (with luck) before too long.
Part A
Raiding Information
Communication is important, we use English for raiding. Do you speak English? Do you have vent? Do you have a mic and do you speak on vent when required?
Yes on vent, I am Australian and my only language is english.
Do you have a stable connection, and do you suffer from regular disconnection issues?
I have a stable ADSL 2+ connection and have no real lag issues.
What is your average FPS and Latency in Dalaran and Ulduar/ToTC/ToGC Raids?
I run 40 fps in Dalaran and have never had any major issues due to fps loss or latency in game. I generally sit on about 400ms in Dalaran and about same in raids.
Our raiding time is ST11pm to 3am (with day light saving, in GMT term, it's 8pm to 12am GMT+8) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Can you meet all these raiding days and times? If not please specify the day/time that you cannot meet and reason, do not apply if you cannot at least make 3 full days.
As I work Mornings or nights depending on roster I can make all nights with maybe 1hr late on Thursday nights.
It is expected you have thorough raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game. Please list out the followings:
I have raided most content from MC through to Dreamwalker on 10/25. I am yet to do Sindragosa/LK at all but I am a quick learner and never make the same mistake twice. I also research all fights before going into them.
Uld 10: Vezax
Uld 25: Mimiron
ToGC10: Mad Skill
TOGC25: Sadly not even beasts on this toon, as I took a 2 month break due to RL issues at that point.
ICC10: 9/12 First 3 wings
ICC25 9/12 Missing BQ from first 10 (have BQ on druid)
Based on your experience in Ulduar/ToGC, explain what you perceive your character's role in the raids.
My class while it can do monster dps at times is more as a raid buffer/hybrid role, there to support harder hitting classes. The crit buff (via Aura and Totems) help the raid out a lot as well as my totems buffing casters/melee, depending on which are desired at the time.
In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter in WotLK you have ever defeated and why? What was your role in that encounter, please elaborate in details.
To me the hardest fight I have defeated to date has been probably Blood Queen. At the end of the day, no matter how hard you try, it can take 1 person messing up and get mind controlled and start killing healers and other dps.
Pls post a screen shot of your raid UI.

Pls provide a recent WOL/WMO/Recount report of a raid that you attended.
I am currently saved to all raids, but if this is good enough.

What do you do to prepare for an unfamiliar or new boss encounter?
I am constantly reading tankspot, bosskillers or talking to people to know the fights if I don't know them so well to get my head around the encounter. That being said, sometimes no matter how many times you watch a video, until you experience the fight you might not fully understand it, some small thing you overlooked or just something stupid.
What is more important to you: loot or progression? Tell us why.
As much as I love loot, at the end of the day, progression is the key to a healthy raid. Without progression a raid starts to stagnate, people start to get not show up (i've seen that a few times), and eventually it can cause guild's to fall apart.
What do you think about staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
I won't say no, that's for sure. If we are close to downing a boss an extra 15 mins or an extra hour might do the trick. You need to put in the effort to be able to do the encounters.
What does guild mean to you?
Not only a raid group, but a close knit group of friends most of the time. It takes a lot for me to leave a guild, I hate leaving friends behind, even though i'm still on the same server you do miss raiding with some people for a while. If a guild works well as a team and get's to know what others do in certain situations, you are in the end a better raiding guild too.
Do you have any well-geared alts? If so, please provide an Armory Link.
My Resto druid, not fully happy with her yet, but she's geared enough for icc25 at least.

What makes you different from other applicants? Why should Shidavere choose you?
I know my class well, and I have years of experienced gameplay behind me. I learn fights fast and very rarely make the same mistake twice, if I don't know a fight I will go and research it before I even step into the instance.
Part B
Is there any Shidavere member who can vouch for you?
Aquileia
How can we contact you outside of the game?
david18gra@hotmail.com (MSN also)
As i'm working most of the time when i'm not in game though, it's probably best to wait till I log on.
Edit: Linked dps meter for a quick 5 sec few casts just to show UI, fixed lol.
