Raiding Information

Communication is important, we use English for raiding. Do you speak English? Do you have vent? Do you have a mic and do you speak on vent when required?
i speak english and i have vent and a mic ready.

Do you have a stable connection, and do you suffer from regular disconnection issues?
yeh stable with a dc randomly from time to time like most people.

What is your average FPS and Latency in Dalaran and Ulduar/ToTC/ToGC Raids?
60 fps everywhere as i activated vysnc for 60fps max since i got big lcd and there isnt fps fluctuations as a result.

Our raiding time is ST11pm to 3am (with day light saving, in GMT term, it's 8pm to 12am GMT+8) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Can you meet all these raiding days and times? If not please specify the day/time that you cannot meet and reason, do not apply if you cannot at least make 3 full days.
I will be on 830-845pm gmt+8 for every raid and on my days off work which happen to land on a raid night ill be on before raid.

It is expected you have thorough raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game. Please list out the followings:
- Raiding experience in TBC (pre-nerf 3.0 raids). Brief summary is ok. TK/SSC full clear. MH full clear. BT up to mother sharaz.
- Raiding experience in WotLK prior to Ulduar. Brief summary is ok. Did os3d prenerf 10/25, and did nax and malygos also.
- Ulduar hard mode done in 10m and 25m version. done 10man full clear hardmode. 25man just normal clears.
- ToGC(this refers to hard mode) 10m and 25m. done 10man full clear with 49 attempts everyweek on kasengai lol my alts got insanity before him zzz. 25man done 2/5 only.
- IC10 heroic mode all bosses accept LK
- IC25 heroic mode all bosses accept PP, sindra and LK

Based on your experience in Ulduar/ToGC, explain what you perceive your character's role in the raids.
Fury - Do my dps rotation, sunder when there isnt a prot warr and avoid the boss abilities.
Prot - do my tanking rotation and do what the boss requires me to do eg face away from raid etc etc.

In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter in WotLK you have ever defeated and why? What was your role in that encounter, please elaborate in details.
back in sarth 3d days i still think 10man sarth 3d was the hardest and most fun pre nerf. Role was to constantly have as much dps uptime as possible plus avoiding the boss abilities and had to control my aoe ablities until the OT had aggro on whelps and adds.

I dont have one atm of in-raid since i been on holiday. I'll post one when i get in a raid if really required.

Pls provide a recent WOL/WMO/Recount report of a raid that you attended.
i dont have one cause it says out of date etc maybe the simplicity officers have one that has me in it >.<

What do you do to prepare for an unfamiliar or new boss encounter?
Read up wowwiki and watch vids on youtube.

What is more important to you: loot or progression? Tell us why.
progression as a guild of course because raiding is about 25 ppl working together to achieve a common goal of defeating the boss. Team effort to get that "Team Achievement" with friends is very satisfying.

What do you think about staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
Yeah thats no problem at all ive never been one to ask to leave early unless emergency.

What makes you different from other applicants?Why should Shidavere choose you?
I feel i know my warrior as ive played warrior since TBC as prot and fury. I read up warrior forums and i compare items in the Landsoul spreadsheet to see which is the best combination of gear. Once i know the boss and have experience i will be a player who wont let the raid down and will hardly fail and die to the environment / boss abilities. I have tidied up my prot set and its almost at 5.7kgs so i am also flexible with what i bring to the raid as i can take up a tank role if raider tanks havnt shown up to the raid.

Im applying as Raider now as Weng has told me he can get me a raider spot even though i can only be online 30 mins after raid start due to work.
