Raiding Information
Communication is important, we use English for raiding. Do you speak English? Do you have vent? Do you have a mic and do you speak on vent when required?
Yes im a full aussie, i have vent and a headset.
Do you have a stable connection, and do you suffer from regular disconnection issues?
Yes i have a stable connection no issues that i know of.
What is your average FPS and Latency in Dalaran and Ulduar/ToTC/ToGC Raids?
50-60fps and around 300-500 ms latency higher on busy days later at night its the lower side.
Our raiding time is ST11pm to 3am (with day light saving, in GMT term, it's 8pm to 12am GMT+8) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Can you meet all these raiding days and times? If not please specify the day/time that you cannot meet and reason, do not apply if you cannot at least make 3 full days.
Yes i see no reason why i cant make any of the days or times.
It is expected you have thorough raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game. Please list out the followings:
- Raiding experience in TBC (pre-nerf 3.0 raids). Brief summary is ok.
- Raiding experience in WotLK prior to Ulduar. Brief summary is ok.
- Ulduar hard mode done in 10m and 25m version.
- ToGC(this refers to hard mode) 10m and 25m.
- ICC 10m and 25m.
TBC- Was when i begun WoW started raiding ZA, MgT, and Kara only just before WoTLK release.
Naxx- Completed 10/25 not on hardmode though.
Ulduar- have, Lose your Illusion, ill take you all on, i could say that this cache was rare, i have the coolest friends, cheese the freeze, crazy cat lady, The antechamber of Ulduar, Disarmed, I choose you steelbreaker, Heartbreaker, The seige of Ulduar, Nerf Engineering, I choose you stormcaller Brundir, Nerf Gravity bombs, Shutout.
ToGC- only ever done The beasts of notherend unfortunatly.. never had the right opurtunity
ICC 10- 7/12
ICC 25- 9/12
Based on your experience in Ulduar/ToGC, explain what you perceive your character's role in the raids.
To focus on tanks keeping them up at all times unless its needed for them to not be at full health.
In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter in WotLK you have ever defeated and why? What was your role in that encounter, please elaborate in details.
hmm..Probably so far seeing as i only have 9/12 i think the toughest boss encounter would have to be Princes, in the sense that i will set myself up in a nice spot and soon as the vortex starts i end up having dps run into my range and splattering me over the wall.. i cant think of any fights that are actually *hard* as persay that i have attempted as of yet. Imo ToGC is more challenging then 9/12 ICC. For myself that is. The only issue i had was rotface when i had to cleanse for the first time. Being tank heals i was concerned that i would be focusing on cleansing (i have decursive) and the tank would drop health.
Pls post a screen shot of your raid UI. (Screenshot has to be in combat and not in town)

Pls provide a recent WOL/WMO/Recount report of a raid that you attended.
Havent got a current one right this moment, but will be able to supply one by thursday.
What do you do to prepare for an unfamiliar or new boss encounter?
I Always check out tankspot videos to get a view of the fight, and also ask my brother as to what his guild did how they approached it. And sometimes i might read up on the fight also if im unsure about a video or ill ask someone who'm has done the fight.
What is more important to you: loot or progression? Tell us why.
Both are as important as the other, With out Loot there is no Progression and Without progression there is no loot.
What do you think about staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
Hell yes! New content is fun and exciting of course i would stay. Unless i had RL commitments < *highly unlikely...*
What does guild mean to you?
A guild is a place were i can get advice and give advice, were i can have a chat and be treated fairly. Somewere were im not ridiculed for asking a silly question just because im unsure of something. Friends. Family
Do you play actively outside of raiding?
Yeah i do VoA 10/25 and ToC almost everyweek, also do my JC daily and Roic Daily i also have 3 other undergeared toons that i do dailys and raids on.
Do you have any well-geared alts? If so, please provide an Armory Link.
Not quite yet.
What makes you different from other applicants? Why should Shidavere choose you?
Im laid back but when it comes to raids i knuckle down hard. I always do my best and thrive to be better. Im friendly and a genuinly happy person all round
Part B
Is there any Shidavere member who can vouch for you?
