Part A

Raiding Information

Communication is important, we use English for raiding. Do you speak English? Do you have vent? Do you have a mic and do you speak on vent when required?
Yes.

Do you have a stable connection, and do you suffer from regular disconnection issues?
Stable internet connection, with no problems of DC

What is your average FPS and Latency in Dalaran and Ulduar/ToTC/ToGC Raids?
60FPS constant with 300MS

Our raiding time is ST11pm to 3am (with day light saving, in GMT term, it's 8pm to 12am GMT+8) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Can you meet all these raiding days and times? If not please specify the day/time that you cannot meet and reason, do not apply if you cannot at least make 3 full days.
I can make all days stated above.

It is expected you have thorough raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game. Please list out the followings:
- Raiding experience in TBC - Kara/Mags, slight SSC/TK exp, 4/5MH 6/9BT
- Raiding experience in WotLK prior to Ulduar. All low tier instances completed. Achieved OS3D before zerg strat, was achieved with Straw Hat Pirates on Hunter.
- Ulduar hard mode done in 10m and 25m version - Lots of practical experience on fights, but small amount of bosses were downed.
- ToGC(this refers to hard mode) 10m and 25m. - 5/5 TOGC10 4/5TOGC25 experience, only subbed in for one boss down (NR Beasts)
- ICC 10m and 25m. 11/12 on both ICC10 and 25. Cleared 6/12 HM 10man, only achieved Heroic Gunship on 25.

Based on your experience in Ulduar/ToGC, explain what you perceive your character's role in the raids.
My characters role in the raid is to ensure that raid damage is always counter-acted with pre HoT's on raid members. My role also involves helping with spot healing for characters that may need it, E.G flame on Jarraxus where certain amount of heals is needed. Overall, my role is a raid healer.

In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter in WotLK you have ever defeated and why? What was your role in that encounter, please elaborate in details.
The hardest boss I have defeated was OS3D when the fight was still very much difficult. This is because timing was essential in that fight, and one mistake would cause a definate raid wipe. The second hardest encounter I have faced so far is LK, only because of the basic knowledge of some players I was raiding with.

Pls post a screen shot of your raid UI. (Screenshot has to be in combat and not in town)
I do not have a screenshot of raid combat, but I can happily get one when I am in a raid situation and upload it. I can also upload a normal UI picture if needed.

Pls provide a recent WOL/WMO/Recount report of a raid that you attended.
My current guild does not record WOL/WMO. However, I can assure that my HPS is always above par, ranging between 5.5kHPS and 6.5kHPS depending on fight.

What do you do to prepare for an unfamiliar or new boss encounter?
I keep a piece of paper in front of my monitor with tips I have gathered, so information is not far away from my screen when I need it.

What is more important to you: loot or progression? Tell us why.
Progression is much more important, because if you are not progressing, you are not unlocking the possibility of progressing further into the instance, which also does bring loot. My stance has always been progression/skill before loot, as loot comes on a weekly basis, and progression is more important.

What do you think about staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
I am happy to stay as long as I am needed.

What does guild mean to you?
I remember when I first started playing WoW in BC, I had always heard good things about the raid nature of Shidavere, and that the guild was a very focused and well knit unit. I would like to offer myself to the guild, as I am sure I can blend in with the professional nature of this guild. To me, this guild shows reliability, professionalism and skill.

Do you play actively outside of raiding?
Yes I do, I am always keen to help guild members with whatever is needed.

Do you have any well-geared alts? If so, please provide an Armory Link.

What makes you different from other applicants? Why should Shidavere choose you?
My attitude towards WoW and progression cannot be matched. I am determined to find myself a new home, in which I can show people that I can excel at my class, and be reliable and can be depended on. Shidavere should choose me because I have a never say die attitude, and will accept any criticism that comes my way, and use that to make myself a better player for the guild.

Part B
Is there any Shidavere member who can vouch for you?
Not that I am aware of.

Is there anything else you think we should know about you?
All I basically ask for, is a chance to show you're guild that I am worthy of a raiding spot.

How can we contact you outside of the game?
