Raiding Information
Communication is important, we use English for raiding. Do you speak English? Do you have vent? Do you have a mic and do you speak on vent when required?
Yes.
Do you have a stable connection, and do you suffer from regular disconnection issues?
ADSL2+ i never have connection problems.
What is your average FPS and Latency in Dalaran and Ulduar/ToTC/ToGC Raids?
MS in dal: 280-450.
FPS in dal: 40-90 at full settings.
Our raiding time is ST11pm to 3am (with day light saving, in GMT term, it's 8pm to 12am GMT+8) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Can you meet all these raiding days and times? If not please specify the day/time that you cannot meet and reason, do not apply if you cannot at least make 3 full days.
Yes i can meet all raid times and days.
It is expected you have thorough raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game. Please list out the followings:
- Raiding experience in TBC (pre-nerf 3.0 raids). Brief summary is ok. All befor 3.0: Kara, Mags, Gruuls, SSC, TK, BT and sunwell up to Muru. After 3.0 KJ.
- Raiding experience in WotLK prior to Ulduar. Brief summary is ok. Full Naxx clears but only after Uld came out. ( was working very strange Hr's for a few months )
- Ulduar hard mode done in 10m and 25m version.10m all but 2 and 25 man all but 4.
- ToGC(this refers to hard mode) 10m and 25m. Only got to Anub in togc we never killed him.
- ICC 10m and 25m. 12/12 10 normal, 12/12 25 normal, 8/12 10 HM, 9/12 25 HM.
Based on your experience in Ulduar/ToGC, explain what you perceive your character's role in the raids.
90% of the fights i will spend most of my healing on tanks but depending on raid build or fight i would raid heal small ammounts.
In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter in WotLK you have ever defeated and why? What was your role in that encounter, please elaborate in details.
Yogg and LK. Both of these fights have a lot of game mechanics that blend in with eacch other to keep all raid members in verble and visual awareness in order to successfully down the current boss.
out of both of these fights i would have to say yogg would have been one of the more harder fights for myself. Being a holy pally and during p2 it can be rather stressing at times wile having to move around the room and keep all raid members toped up. phase 1 and 2 were easy for me but if i was asked what would be my most fav fight that i found hard #1 would have to be felmist in sunwell pre first nurf and 3.0 nurf.
Pls post a screen shot of your raid UI. (Screenshot has to be in combat and not in town)
Rellith UI
Pls provide a recent WOL/WMO/Recount report of a raid that you attended.
this will be upshortly
What do you do to prepare for an unfamiliar or new boss encounter?
Reading strats are one of these options but in my years of raiding since classic i have found Strat guides are only just that. in order for me to perform 100% i need to understand "the guilds" Strat which can differ from guild to guild based on raid build tanking class's and healing combos.
What is more important to you: loot or progression? Tell us why.
Progression is the key and loot is the reward. ( not sure if that is a real question )
What do you think about staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
If the guild is on a good roll and it loots as tho we could down the boss in 2-3 more attempts then im allways keen to put in the few more Hr's.
What does guild mean to you?
A collection of Friends or family aiming for the same goal based in a game.
Do you play actively outside of raiding?
Im allways raiding older content or farming wile not in raids.
Do you have any well-geared alts? If so, please provide an Armory Link.
i have a lot of alts but never really play them nuff to gear them out.
Is there any Shidavere member who can vouch for you?
Proactiv.
Is there anything else you think we should know about you?
If im accepted after trial u'll all get to know me very well
How can we contact you outside of the game?
Via Msn or Proactiv
